The Photoneo PhoXi 3D Scanner Gen3 is a structured-light 3D sensor that scans static scenes at high speed and high resolution. It comes in 6 models: S, M and L sizes, each with a red or blue laser. Scanning volume ranges from 38 cm to 2.15 m, and each scan delivers 3 million 3D points with 25–200 µm accuracy depending on the model. It suppresses ambient light up to 20,000 lux and takes power and data over a single PoE cable.

Not the right fit for

- Not suited to environments with unstable temperatures; the operating range is 0–40 °C, optimal 22–25 °C, and accuracy can drop by up to 0.15% for every 10 °C deviation from standard.
- Not suited to scanning beyond 2150 mm or closer than 384 mm; the model ranges fall within these limits.
