ZD411 / ZD421
Advanced 2- and 4-inch desktop printers that are easy to deploy, use and manage with Print DNA, offering features, flexibility and security for years.
The new architecture handles more tasks at once. Five status icons and a three-button interface make printer status easy to read. USB and USB Host are standard; Ethernet, serial and dual radio (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) can be added in the field. PrintSecure helps protect the printer against cyberattacks.

- ZD411 DT: 2-inch, direct thermal; print width 56 mm (203 dpi) / 54 mm (300 dpi); media 15–60 mm; 220 x 115 x 151 mm (L x W x H), 1.0 kg. Replaces the ZD410d.
- ZD411 TT: 2-inch, thermal transfer; 74 m ribbon, width 33–58 mm; media 15–60 mm; 242.9 x 138.7 x 169.2 mm, 1.629 kg. Replaces the TLP2824 Plus.
- ZD421 DT: 4-inch, direct thermal; print width 104 mm (203 dpi) / 106 mm (300 dpi); media 15–108 mm; 220.8 x 177.5 x 150.7 mm, 1.35 kg.
- ZD421 TT (roll ribbon): 300 m or 74 m ribbon, width 33.8–109.2 mm; media 15–112 mm; 267 x 202 x 189 mm, 2.05 kg.
- ZD421 RC (ribbon cartridge): 74 m cartridge ribbon, width 109.2 mm; print width 104 mm (203 and 300 dpi); media 15–118 mm; 254 x 202 x 177 mm, 2.3 kg. The cartridge loads one way in seconds; a smart chip in the ribbon signals when to change it.

Not the right fit for
- Environments below 4.4 °C or above 41 °C: they fall outside the operating temperature range.
- High-volume thermal transfer printing with long ribbon life on the ZD411 TT or ZD421 RC: both take 74 m ribbons only.
- Media wider than 118 mm: the widest media is 118 mm on the ZD421 RC and 60 mm on the ZD411.
