The HC series was designed from the ground up for healthcare. It features disinfectant-ready plastics, an easy-to-reach programmable emergency button and patient-friendly scanning with a green aimer and white illumination. The HC25 and HC55 add 5G/LTE and private 5G to the slim, light ergonomics of the HC20/HC50. All models are backward compatible with HC20/HC50 accessories.

HC20: Wi-Fi only (Wi-Fi 6; upgradable to Wi-Fi 6E with an Enterprise license); 6 GB / 64 GB; 239 g; user-replaceable battery, no hot swap; no front camera; Zebra DNA Professional included.
HC25: Adds 5G/LTE and private 5G to the HC20; 1 Nano SIM + 1 eSIM; 6 GB / 64 GB; 239 g; some models can be configured without a scan engine.
HC50: Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi 6E; 8 GB / 128 GB; 242 g; true hot swap battery (fully functional for up to 60 seconds); 5 MP front camera; Zebra DNA Enterprise free and preloaded.
HC55: Adds 5G/LTE and private 5G to the HC50; Nano SIM + eSIM; 8 GB / 128 GB; 242 g.

Not the right fit for

Environments that require operation below -10 °C; the minimum operating temperature is -10 °C.
Heavy industrial use with drop risks above 1.25 m; the rated drop height is 1.25 m.
The Wi-Fi-only HC20/HC50 for outdoor field work that needs cellular connectivity; this requires the HC25/HC55.
