SP72-H / SP72-V
Horizontal and vertical single-plane checkout scanners that improve the customer experience, reduce shrink and speed up checkout.
The SP72 series delivers best-in-class scanning performance with PRZM. It supports interlock EAS. Upward-facing good-read LEDs work with video-based loss prevention systems. It raises an alert for items that are not decoded (non-decode event).

- SP72-H: Horizontal; sapphire glass (864 g) or DLC glass (834 g); 15.2 x 15.2 x 8.6 cm; bucket mount; external speaker port.
- SP72-V: Vertical; 577 g, 602 g with color camera; 13.7 x 15.2 x 8.4 cm; optional 2.3 MP color camera (SP7208-V); front and top LEDs.

- Not suited to long-distance scanning; the maximum range is about 22.9 cm.
- Not suited to mobile use; it is a fixed scanner mounted in the checkout.
